Meet the Team!

  • Kendra Hart

    OWNER/FOUNDER
    ATP/Gold Seal CFI/AGI

Kendra is a full time corporate pilot but didn’t want to stop teaching - so Full Deflection was born! She has experience in Part 91, 135, and 121 flying.

She has years of experience teaching aerobatics, tailwheel, spins, and upset recovery. Her heart truly beats for building great stick and rudder skills and training pilots above and beyond the standard. She deeply believes in the importance of this type of training to create safer, more skilled pilots.

  • Sam Davis

    ATP/MEI/CFI/CFII/AGI/IGI

Sam has over 40 types of aircraft in his logbook! He has specialized in teaching aerobatics, tailwheel, upset recovery, and spins over the past few years and thousands of hours. He can help with ferries, phase one testing, and overall learning some kickin’ pilot skills. We are lucky to have Sam on the team!

  • Andrew Marvin

    ATP/MEI/CFI/CFII/AGI/IGI

Andrew has been teaching aviators the finer points of tailwheel, aerobatics, and UPRT for nearly a decade. With time in over 50 different aircraft types ranging from high performance aerobatic planes, to warbirds, to a variety of jet aircraft, he is a great addition to the Full Deflection staff. While he isn’t acting as the self-proclaimed “funniest instructor” (pictured above), he also works full-time at a major airline flying the Boeing 737.

  • Bryce Brimhall

    ATP/MEI/CFI/CFII

Bryce is a full time airline pilot and on the local IAC chapter board! We love his enthusiasm and passion for all things tailwheel and aerobatics. When he’s not shredding on his skis, or climbing rocks, he spends his time with us.

  • Sadie Talbot

    MEI/CFI/CFII

Sadie has been flying tailwheel and aerobatics since she started her flight training and has now made the step to teaching. She’s a natural stick and always has a one liner ready to go. She is a full time flight instructor teaching in DA20’s, DA40’s, Piper Arrow, and Cessna 172 in addition to her tailwheel students!

  • Josh Kelson

    CFI

Josh is a passionate tailwheel pilot with a ton of experience in backcountry aviation! He's involved in the Utah Backcountry Pilots Association and an advocate for safe flying in and out of tough strips. Josh brings experience in various types of tailwheels in challenging conditions!
